Fees

Registered Social worker services are not covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) The majority of extended health benefits/employer benefits cover the cost of counselling from a Registered Social Worker (typically in your health and dental insurance package). We accept most extended Employee Extended Health and Insurance plans in Ontario. If you have insurance benefits that cover counseling from a Registered Social Worker, they may be used to help cover the full or partial cost of the Anger Management class or individual counseling. Since coverage varies among insurers we encourage you to check with your insurance company to determine the amount and duration of coverage that you have under your plan and to to determine your eligibility and approved rates of coverage.

  • Payment is due at the end of each session
  • Fees are charged on sliding scale
  • Average Cost per session $120 – $150.
  • We do offer home visits if you are unable to come to the office for a specific reason or condition (additional charges may apply).
  • Sessions are payable by Cash, Cheque or E-transfer at the end of each session.
  • We will provide you with an official receipt that you may submit for reimbursement to your insurance company or report on your tax return as a medical expense.
  • Please note that you are now able to claim social work related expenses under Medical Expenses for your taxes.
  • We do provide web-counselling via video conferencing, audio only or instant messaging for client’s convenience.
  • It may be useful to know that we provide services in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi and Urdu for clients’ comfortability and better understanding.
