Fees

Counselling services from a Registered Social Worker are not covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). The majority of extended health benefits/employer benefits in Canada cover the cost of counselling from a Registered Social Worker (typically in your health and dental insurance package). We accept most extended Employee Extended Health and Insurance plans in Ontario. If you have insurance benefits that cover counselling from a Registered Social Worker, they may be used to help cover the full or partial cost of the counselling. Since coverage varies among insurers we encourage you to check with your insurance company to determine the amount and duration of coverage that you have under your plan and to to determine your eligibility and approved rates of coverage.
